This year all profits will go to the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society. Its mission is to honor peace officers who have made the supreme sacrifice in performance of service to serve their communities and the nation.
Last year’s tournament had over 20 teams competing and was a huge success raising over $2000 for The U.S. Marshals Survivor Benefit Fund and over $500 to the family of fallen Cleveland Police Officer Shane Bartok.
This is a double elimination tournament with two member teams competing in games of 501 and Cricket. Individual team members must either be Elks or law enforcement (active or retirees). Entry fee for teams is $60 with all profits going to benefit the Memorial Society. Start time is expected to be 9 am on January 7, 2023. There will also be a cash bar during the tournament with all profits going to the Memorial Society. Additionally there will be 50/50 raffles being run during the tournament, again with proceeds going to GCPOMS.
